Often during the first working hours you cannot see that leakagebecause water is immediately vaporised in the bilge (frictions are very important in that seal);but rapidly by the action of the sand and marine incrustations the vaporisation change into asprinkling of water. no oil leaks into the sea
The oil reservoir of the H. Seal is positioned under the water sea level; so the pressure of thewater is higher than that of the oil; when oil seal become holds (after many thousands ofworking hours) it happens just a little passage of the water in the oil, and no a leakage of oilinto the sea.

The H. Seal is available with inflatable seal in order to allow the maintenance with the boat into che water.

H. Seal Patent: oil circulation, double dry stage, self-aligning bearingThe H. Seal may be considered the evolution of traditional oil systems used in ships.H. Seal bearing has a special interior profile that creates an oil pumping with therotation of the propeller shaft.The oil circulation ensures the creation of an oil film between the shaft and thebearing, and almost between the shaft and the oil seal: no friction and excellentdurability of the oil seal. On the sea side, the H. Seal has a patented greasechamber that protect oil seals from sand and ropes (fishing-lines…).The water pressure prevents the escape of the grease from the H. Seal. The H. Sealis connected to the stern tube in a flexible way by a strong coupling joint with doublearticulation, this in order to absorb vibrations and misalignments of the propeller shaft.The hardy metal structure of the H. Seal guarantees a reliable working in everycondition, even without oil.
EASY TO INSTALL
The H. Seal Ts may be installed on any existing stern tube without any modification.For new boats the H. Seal Ts may be supplied complete of stern tube. The installationis very easy and no adjustments are required

Our technical department is able to offer a customized solution for each specific application (pressure, fluid, temperature, rpm…).
We also realize special seals for standard ISO pumps.
